CARING FOR OUR SUPPORTERS
OUR CORE VALUES
Respect: We respect the human dignity and value of every person and all peoples – no matter what their beliefs or background – as made in God’s own image.
Compassion: Our Christian faith teaches us to treat every person with compassion, especially anyone who suffers from social or economic marginalisation or from having their basic human rights withheld or compromised.
Integrity: We see honesty and integrity as foundational to Embrace’s way of working with partners, supporters and donors and have high expectations of all who work for and with the charity in any capacity.
Trust: Just as we trust that God cares for us and sustains us in our work, we work with a generous and positive spirit, trusting that God desires to see all of humanity flourish.
We are therefore committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence, establishing and maintaining good relations with all supporters, partners, volunteers and other stakeholders and treating all our supporters with respect.
Giving to a charity should be a positive experience, whether as an existing or a new supporter. Embrace the Middle East is committed to fundraising in an honest and responsible way and we aim to communicate with supporters in the ways in which they are most comfortable, which includes, mail, email, phone and in person.
Embrace the Middle East believes that everyone should have the opportunity to donate if they wish and are able to do so.
All individuals will, at some stage in their lifetime, be considered vulnerable or require additional care and support. This may be as a result of personal circumstances, health, bereavement, life events or financial situations. However, an individual who may require additional care and support, or may be considered in a vulnerable circumstance, can still have the capacity to donate to a charity.
If you have any concerns about a vulnerable supporter then please do get in touch with our Supporter Experience Team, by phone: 01494 897950 or by email: safeguarding@embraceme.org.
