THE EMBRACE ANNUAL LECTURE
ONE YEAR ON - THE IMPACT OF WAR IN GAZA ON THE CHRISTIAN PRESENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
7pm, Thursday 17 October, St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1P 3JX
We’re delighted to host His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London, who will share his reflections on what war in the Middle East means for the region’s indigenous Christian community. The Very Reverend John Witcombe will respond by exploring the role Christians have as agents of reconciliation, and the part the church in the in the UK can play in standing in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the region.
It promises to be a timely and thought-provoking evening.
